Do I need a GPX file for a road-trip map?

Yes. The journey creator uses a GPX track to draw the real route and keeps ordering locked until a valid route has been added.

Can the route come from a drive, bike ride or hike?

Yes. Any valid GPX track can become the route, whether it was recorded while driving, cycling, hiking or running.

Can I hide the start and finish markers?

Yes. The journey flow includes a control for showing or hiding the route’s start and end markers.
